Ways of Working Together

I offer both short-term and long-term consulting and mentoring support for early childhood programs moving toward nature-based, outdoor learning.

Support is offered in two primary ways:

On-site visits allow me to directly observe your program in action.

During these visits, I spend time:

  • observing outdoor and indoor environments

  • noticing group dynamics, rhythms, and transitions

  • understanding educator and child interactions in real time

  • offering reflective feedback and practical next steps

On-site work is often the foundation for deeper program shifts.

Observation and Consulting

Virtual Mentoring & Consultation

Virtual sessions provide ongoing support between or outside of on-site visits.

These may include:

  • reflective conversations with directors or teams

  • troubleshooting specific challenges

  • supporting implementation of changes

  • continued guidance as practices evolve

Short-term consulting is available for programs looking for:

  • specific problem-solving support

  • clarity around a challenge or transition

  • focused observation and recommendations

Short-Term Support

Long Term Mentoring Relationships

Longer-term support allows for deeper, sustained change over time.

This may include:

  • ongoing on-site visits

  • monthly or seasonal mentoring

  • continued reflection and adjustment as practices evolve

  • support for whole-program cultural shifts.

This is often where the most meaningful transformation happens.
